Victory! Marcellus Drilling in Avonworth Park Rejected

After the Avonworth Municipal Authority signed a lease for Marcellus drilling in Avonworth Park, four of five communities who control the park had to approve the deal. After one vote for the drilling by Ohio Twp., Ben Avon Heights and Emsworth both voted against the deal. The park is safe for now.
